(pictures by Anthony Reynolds) 3 year old gelding. He has come on really well and is now ready to be broken in and move on to ridden work. He is a wonderful straight mover and a real gentleman who is willing to learn and easy to do in all ways. So far this season his wins as a Section B Gelding include :- Carmarthenshire Welsh Pony and Cob Association show 2011 and were delighted to win the class, then Millcroft Champion, Gelding Champion and he then went on to complete the day by winning Supreme Gelding Champion. And all that in a gale at Ffoslas, his second time, ever, off the farm. What a good boy. I think he enjoyed the attention as much as we did. His temperament is second to none. To quote the Supreme Judge, "He will make some child a super ridden pony". Cardigan County Show Millcroft Champion and Supreme Gelding Champion. Brecon County show reserve Millcroft Champion and reserve Supreme Gelding Champion to his half brother Yrenfys Arcturus who took the gelding championship. WPCS international show he had 3rd. Llanedi show he was 1st. Pembrokeshire county show he was 2nd . Pontardulais show we showed him for the 1st time as a Show Hunter Pony where he won his class and took the championship. SOLD Due to change in our breeding programme ( too many stallions) we are regretfully selling Antares. We have now sold him in the Fair Oaks sale 2011. He has a big future as a stallion and/or ridden prospect. He has a wonderful nature, gentleman in all ways. True to Welsh type. Correct and straight moving. No blemishes. No vicess. Sort hard to find and 'blue' black in colour. Shown as a yearling (in the above photo) with much success and now as a three year old he is ready to move on to riding/breeding/showing.
